Our Classes
Each of our classes is designed to see to the physical, emotional, and social needs of our children, and uses activities tailored to the age and needs of children in that particular age group.
Infants
Our specially designed infant room is a place where babies feel safe, secure, and happy. Our room is divided into general interest areas that meet an infant's need to move, explore, express, and relax. Personal cribs, separate areas for changing and feeding. But, as much love as we give, we never forget that you are your child's most important teacher. So, we'll work with you, give you daily reports, and offer tips on how to reinforce what your child learns in his or her time with us.
Toddler 1
Our Toddler 1 classroom helps children ages 12-24 months learn and grow in a safe and fun environment. The classroom is set up and designed in eight different centers; Construction, Science/Discovery, Art, Music, Library, Manipulatives, Dramatic Play, and Quiet Area to help promote learning for your toddler. Our class participates in circle time where we learn to interact in a group environment while singing songs, reading stories, and learning about the world around us. We work daily on improving both our gross and fine motor skills through various games, puzzles, and activiities. Teachers work to promote curiosity in the environment by helping children engage all five senses to help them understand how the world around them works. We work on social skillsand help to let your child explore and gain independence in a safe and fun environment. We help to build language skills by reading stories and communicating throughout the day in various ways with your toddler.
Toddler 2
Our two year old room is full of life! We take a lot of pride in keeping up with these active toddlers. Our time spent not only teaching and preparing them for school with planned activities, but also giving them plenty of time to play and discover on their own.
Preschool 1
When you walk into your child's preschool classroom you will find a large, colorful room divided into six centers. It will be filled with bright colors and a variety of materials for your child to manipulate, explore, snuggle, play with, and share. The room is especially designed to encourage your child's natural curiosity and desire to learn about his or her world.
Preschool 2
It is our goal to provide a safe and caring environment for your child while having some great fun! We endeavor to use the whole classroom and every available resource to give your child a good start for school and life.
Know this - we will get dirty, hold some earthworms, paint rainbows, read a lot of books, sing songs, and write names!
School Age
In our school age classroom we provide a clean, safe learning environmnent for your child to grow an experience. We encourage fun and excitement through designated centers with age appropriate materials, including homework assistance. Our teachers are experienced and promote social and emotional development through our daily planned activities.
